What you'll build
Read ECG- and EMG-class signals with the ADS1292R, a 2-channel biopotential analog front-end. You'll implement right-leg-drive (bias) to reject common-mode noise and lead-off detection to know when an electrode falls off — the core techniques of real signal acquisition, and the stepping-stone between a precision ADC and a full 8-channel EEG.
It sits on the SENSE track: reading real-world signals and turning voltages, currents, and biopotentials into clean digital data.
